Rob entered the paper and packaging industry with Westvaco Corporation in 1988 upon completion of his undergraduate work at Vanderbilt University. During his tenure at Westvaco, Rob held positions in business development and management in both the paperboard and packaging segments. Rob completed an MBA in finance at Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg School of Management in 1997.

Rob joined PACCESS in 1998 to develop the company’s domestic paper business. He was promoted to lead the global paper team in 2001. Rob led the company’s entrance into the Recovered Fiber and Pulp business segments in 2004.

Rob lives with his wife and daughter in Portland, Oregon. His hobbies include skiing, windsurfing and cooking.
